But rather than bolting on a massive, ostentatious widebody kit that requires a reciprocating saw and irreversible damage to the factory quarter panels, Kang took a wildly different, hyper-refined approach.The result is "Stella," a stunningly subtle, aerodynamically functional Supra built in collaboration with the design masters at ADRO (Aerodynamic Development Race Optimization).AdvertisementAdvertisementWalking around the pristine white Supra, Kang made it clear that his tastes have matured past the flashy, boy-racer aesthetics of the early 2000s. The goal for this build was a sophisticated "OEM plus" look—a car that makes you do a double-take to figure out if it rolled out of the factory looking that aggressive."Perhaps if I were 20, you want something ostentatious and really loud, right, but at my age now I think to me like less is more, subtlety is more, you know, and also respecting the original design from the factory," Kang explained while admiring the front fascia.To achieve this flawless balance, Kang partnered with ADRO's Chief Design Officer, Davis (a former exterior designer for Mercedes-Benz and Rivian), to equip the Supra with their latest V2 carbon fiber aero package.Formula 1 Science Meets the StreetWhat makes this Supra so special isn't just how it looks; it's how the air moves around it. "Scott is our chief aerodynamicist from Williams F1, and he taught me all of this," Davis explained to Kang, noting that every single crease on the kit serves a distinct aerodynamic purpose.For example, the new carbon and Kevlar hood is half the weight of the factory unit. The V2 front bumper completely eliminates the Supra's controversial factory "hump," stretching the side outtakes to make the car look impossibly low and wide. Moving to the side, the carbon fiber V2 skirts feature a specialized radius designed to literally suck turbulent air out from the rear of the front tires, massively reducing drag.Perhaps the most impressive piece is the dual-element rear spoiler. Instead of a massive GT wing, ADRO designed a subtle ducktail where the air flows underneath the wing and attaches to the top of the rear lip, generating real downforce without destroying the car's aerodynamic efficiency.Most importantly?
