Dreame aims to increase its cell energy density to 800Wh/kg by the end of 2027. At the AWE 2026 China Appliance and Electronics Expo, Dreame Technology officially unveiled its all-solid-state power battery product and announced a clear mass production timeline: small-batch delivery planned for 2026, with large-scale mass production to commence in 2027. Dreame’s newly released solid-state battery is named the “Starry Core Power Battery.” From its nomenclature, it is evident that this product is part of the company’s previously announced new energy vehicle strategy, the “Starry Sky Plan.” As early as December 2025, Core Energy, a solid-state battery startup controlled by Dreame Technology founder Yu Hao, announced the completion of a tens of millions of RMB angel round financing. The company specializes in all-solid-state battery cells and system solutions. Dreame debuts at AWE 2026 According to official data, the solid-state battery released by Dreame features a single-cell capacity of 60Ah, an energy density exceeding 450Wh/kg, and an integration efficiency of 85%. The battery supports 10-minute fast charging to 80% capacity and offers heat resistance up to 300°C. Through sulfide electrolytes and dry electrode processes, it effectively addresses the safety and range pain points of traditional lithium batteries. It is worth noting that Dreame has previously shared even more ambitious solid-state battery technology goals: by the end of 2027, they aim to increase the charge/discharge rate of all-solid-state batteries to 2C, and utilizing lithium-rich manganese-based cathode materials, target a cell energy density of 800Wh/kg. Dreame unveils the Star Crystal Core power battery. Dreame’s entry into the market comes at a critical window for the industrialization of solid-state batteries. Since 2024, leading battery manufacturers, automakers, and industry experts have gradually clarified their expectations for the timeline of all-solid-state battery vehicle integration. Small-batch/demonstration deployment in 2027 and large-scale mass production by 2030 have become industry consensus. Meanwhile, Xingji Chuanyue, an ecosystem company of Dreame, also disclosed its business layout for the first time on March 11, launching chip products across multiple cutting-edge fields including mobile phone processors, autonomous driving chips, personal super AI computers, pan-robot SoCs, and space computing centers. Among these, a single autonomous driving chip delivers computing power of up to 2000 TOPS, which will further complete Dreame’s layout in the smart vehicle industry chain.
