The car is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 0.9 seconds. The four-door electric sports car, Nebula 1, was presented at CES in January, already boasting 1,399 kW of power and a 1.8-second acceleration time, but no further technical details about the vehicle were disclosed at the time. When Dreame Cars, the company’s electric vehicle division, was established in August 2025, the organisation announced plans to begin production in 2027. Instead of providing more information about the still unclear powertrain of the Nebula 1, Dreame has opted to grab attention once again with the Jet Edition and its even more extreme acceleration—though the solid-fuel boosters are unlikely to be practical or road-legal. The thrust is said to reach up to 100 kilonewtons, with the rockets responding in just 150 milliseconds. At least Dreame has now shared some details about the battery that is set to be a sulphide-based solid-state battery with an energy density of over 450 Wh/kg. The technology is not yet fully ready for series production, as it is said to be in a “preparation phase for mass production.” If the battery can be built with the promised energy density, Dreame projects a CLTC range of 550 kilometres while using only battery power without the rockets …golem.de (in German), carnewschina.com
