The results demonstrate good performance, with the battery charging from 10% to 70% State of Charge (SOC) in just 3 minutes and 41 seconds, and from 10% to 97% SOC in only 8 minutes and 3 seconds. According to FAW Group, the battery achieves a peak charging rate of 12C, breaking through previous cell charging rate bottlenecks via a high-efficiency ultra-fast charging anode. The development team also implemented a self-developed electrolyte with low desolvation energy to reduce the migration barrier for lithium ions. Furthermore, the application of composite carbon source coating and bulk doping modification techniques has reduced internal resistance by 15% compared to cells of the same system, enhancing charge transfer efficiency and charging response speed. To manage the heat generated during such high-power sessions, the battery utilises an intelligent uniform-temperature liquid cooling system. This system ensures that the temperature difference across the entire battery pack is maintained within 3°C during fast charging. The battery features a fast-charging adaptive strategy based on safety boundaries, which monitors and limits the temperature rise speed of the cells in real-time to dynamically adjust the power output curve. By performing continuous closed-loop verification of cell voltage and capacity, the system prevents issues such as overcharging or overvoltage.
