- The 2027 Chevrolet Trax will start at $25,495, an increase of $2000 over the entry price for the 2026 model.
- The higher price comes as Chevy gives the Trax a modest facelift and thins the lineup to just three trim levels.
- Pricing for the RS and Activ trims has also increased, with those models now starting at $28,295, up from $27,495 for 2026.
The 10Best-winning Chevrolet Trax is about to get considerably more expensive. Chevy revealed pricing for the 2027 Trax on its consumer site, which shows a $2000 increase compared with last year’s car.
Pricing for the 2027 Trax will start at $25,495 for the LT trim, which serves as the new entry point for the model now that the LS trim has been dropped. It’s not just the old base LS that has been left on the cutting room floor. Chevy trimmed the Trax’s lineup from five models down to three. The top of the subcompact SUV’s lineup is now shared by the RS and Activ trims, both of which start at $28,295.
At least the higher price is coming with some added features over the outgoing Trax. The facelifted version gets a modestly revised look with new headlights and taillights. It also comes with a new screen setup that pairs a standard 11.0-inch digital cluster with an 11.3-inch infotainment screen. There’s new safety tech, too, with Chevy updating the electrical software and giving the Trax automatic reverse braking, safety seat alert, side bicyclist alert, rear cross-traffic braking, front park assist, rear seatbelt indicators, and automatic emergency braking for intersections.
According to Chevy, the 2027 Trax will be available in the spring of 2027, though there’s still no word on when customers will be able to place an order.
