Chery Group projects 3.2 million vehicle sales in 2026, driven by strong export growth and new energy vehicle success. On January 6, Chery Group announced a 2026 group-wide vehicle sales target of 3.2 million units, representing growth of 14.03% from 2025. Of this total, Chery Automobile, together with its five core brands, is targeting 3 million units in sales, up 14.01% year on year (YoY). Official data show that Chery Group sold 2.806 million vehicles in 2025, an increase of 7.8% from a year earlier. Chery Group’s 2025 vehicle sales Sales volume, exports and new energy vehicle deliveries all hit record highs, with overall growth maintaining a relatively steady pace. New energy vehicles emerged as the key growth driver. Full-year NEV sales reached 904,000 units, surging 54.9% YoY. More than 90% of new models launched by Chery in 2025 were new energy vehicles. A concentrated rollout of models including the Fulwin A9L, Zongheng G700, Fulwin T11, Luxeed R7, iCAR V23 and JAECOO 5 helped sustain strong momentum in NEV sales. Chery Automobile recorded full-year sales of 2.631 million vehicles, up 8% YoY. Among its sub-brands, the Chery brand remained the group’s core sales pillar, delivering 1.701 million vehicles for the year, a 6% increase. Chery Automobile’s sub-brands sales in 2025 Exeed posted annual sales of 120,000 units, down 15% YoY. Jetour sold 623,000 vehicles, up 10%. The iCAR brand delivered 97,000 units, rising 47%, while Luxeed recorded sales of 90,000 units, up 56%. Exports continued to set new records. In December alone, Chery Group exported 144,430 vehicles, a YoY increase of 46.8%, marking the first time monthly exports exceeded 140,000 units. Chery’s export For the full year 2025, total vehicle exports reached 1.344 million units, up 17.4% YoY. Cumulative exports climbed to 5.85 million vehicles, keeping Chery ranked first among Chinese passenger car brands in exports for the 23rd consecutive year. Alongside its export leadership, Chery is accelerating its entry into highly regulated markets. The group has successfully entered 15 European markets including the UK, Spain and Italy, and has established a localized production base in Spain. As of early 2026, Chery Group’s operations span more than 120 countries and regions worldwide. The company’s global vehicle user base has reached 18.53 million, including 5.85 million overseas users.
