chemical guys headlight restoration ceramic kit review Seeing where one is going is a fairly important factor when driving. What lies on the road ahead could be the difference between an enjoyable cruise or utter disaster. At night, visibility is at a premium and having a good lighting system on your car is important. But a great lighting system doesn't do a whole lot if it can't shine through dull, corroded headlight lenses. That's why products like Chemical Guys Headlight Restoration & Ceramic Kit exist. These systems work to bring back the shine, and more importantly, the transparency of headlight lenses. But not all systems are created equal. Some systems require tools, skill, and patience to get that headlight shining like new. Others, like the kit I'm reviewing here, are simpler to use. For my review, I'm using my trusty 2014 Subaru Forester XT that has driven 156,000 miles in its life. Needless to say, the headlights now sport an interesting shade of pale yellow. Once the headlights are clean, I squirted some daps of the Headlight Restorer IQ formula on the Hex-Logic Hand Polishing Pad. Swirling around in circular motions, I began to see the yellow haze disappear from the top of the headlights. After some serious scrubbing for a few minutes, I wiped the excessive formula off the lights with the Monster Extreme Thickness Microfiber Towel. To finish the job, I then applied the HydroCharge+'s Ceramic Spray using the Microsuede Applicator in a linear motion to both headlights. There is still a bit of discoloration and roughness, but that's because this is an easier, quicker way to restore headlights without the use of tools. Chemical Guys does offer a more hardcore headlight restorer that requires a more intensive preparation and sanding. As it is, I'm quite impressed with this Headlight Restoration & Ceramic Kit. It has restored some visual appeal to my 2014 Forester, but more importantly, increased my nighttime visibility with a noticeable increase in headlight output. Plus, it was so quick and easy to use, and I also restored my taillights. Tail Lights Before Tail Lights Before Tail Lights After Tail Lights After 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet: All the Details
