CaltexGO adds Budi95 RON95 subsidised petrol payment and quota info – link with verified TnG eWallet
Caltex has added support for Budi95 subsidised petrol payments to its CaltexGO payment app. The verification uses TnG eWallet verification, so you need the TnG eWallet app installed on your phone along with your CaltexGO app.
Linking it is very simple, here’s a step by step guide on how to do it.
When you first open your CaltexGO app, you will see a grey button on the homepage that says RON95 Subsidy Program – check your eligibility, tap to check now. Click that button.
You will then see a notice asking you to link a verified TnG eWallet account. According to the app, this link will last a year and has to be renewed after a year.
Proceed through the screens. You will be asked to key in your MyKad/NRIC number as a verification.
You need to key in the same MyKad/NRIC number as the TnG eWallet account that you are trying to link.
Proceed with OTP verification and you will also have to do a selfie verification.
After that, you should get a message that you have successfully linked your account.
You should now be able to see how much quota you have left, and get the RM1.99 subsidised RON95 price when you pay with CaltexGO once the new price comes into effect for your category.
