Gasgoo Munich- Cadillac has set April 22 as the launch date for its new full-size electric flagship SUV, the VISTIQ. The vehicle marks the third domestically produced electric SUV from SAIC-GM Cadillac, positioned between the LYRIQ and the ESCALADE IQ.Image source: CadillacBuilt on General Motors' Ultium platform, the VISTIQ features a 2+2+2 six-seat configuration. It measures 5,222 mm long, 2,026 mm wide, and 1,799 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,094 mm — placing it firmly in the large SUV segment. The vehicle boasts a maximum approach angle of 19 degrees and 193 mm of ground clearance. Additionally, rear-axle steering helps tighten the turning radius, sharpening handling in tight spaces.According to regulatory filings, the single-motor variant puts out 255 kW. The dual-motor version combines a 183 kW front motor with a 260 kW rear motor. This results in a total output of 443 kW, capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. The vehicle runs on a ternary lithium battery pack, offering three CLTC range options: 573 km, 601 km, and 642 km. On the charging front, it supports DC fast charging, adding roughly 127 km of range in just 10 minutes. In terms of technology, the VISTIQ introduces an industry-first hidden in-cabin LiDAR system. By mounting the sensor along the upper inner edge of the front windshield, Cadillac avoids the traditional roof-mounted "hump" while minimizing interference from rain, snow, and dust. For autonomous driving, this marks the first Cadillac model to integrate Momenta's smart driving solution, enabling L2++ advanced driver assistance and navigation-assist capabilities.
