The new models are now open for pre-order, with a price range of 230,000 to 280,000 yuan (33,800 to 41,200 USD). Official market launch and deliveries are expected to commence in early September. InteriorThe interior features a floating central control screen complemented by two physical knobs at the base. The dashboard is characterised by soft-touch materials and integrated speaker openings directly on the surface. A multi-function steering wheel featuring the Fang Cheng Bao logo and physical buttons is paired with a column-shift gear lever. The vehicle will be equipped with BYD’s Smart Ecosystem 2.0. This system utilises three open interfaces – PIN ports, magnetic suction, and threaded connectors – to allow for full-scenario functional expansions. Additionally, the series will integrate core technologies including the DiSus-M intelligent magnetorheological suspension, Flash Charging, and the “God-Eye B” system. Design & DimensionsThe Formula (Fang Cheng) series follows a “Life Metal Aesthetics” design philosophy, offering three variants: the FangCheng S, FangCheng S L, and FangCheng S GT. The exterior is defined by a closed front grille, polygonal headlights, and a through-type intake. The rear is styled with smoked taillights, a brand logo at the centre, a subtle ducktail spoiler, and a rear diffuser. In terms of dimensions, the Formula S measures 5,060mm in length, 1,967mm in width, and 1,483mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,960mm. Performance & rangeThe new series will be available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations: RWD Models: Maximum motor power options of 245 kW (330 hp) and 300 kW (402 hp). AWD Models: Maximum motor power of 190 kW (255 hp) for the front motor and 300 kW (402 hp) for the rear motor. Battery options include 76.744 kWh and 92.093 kWh LFP batteries.
