The vehicle is available in eight variants, with prices ranging from 229,900 yuan (33,800 USD) to 279,900 yuan (41,200 USD). This model previously opened for pre-sale on 13 August, and its launch price is no lower than its pre-sale price. The front fascia features the “Ice Eye” daytime running lights, crafted with crystal thick-wall diamond processes and 132 high-power LED light sources. The vehicle’s profile is characterised by a sleek, extended shoulder line and available 20-inch or 21-inch wheels featuring floating hub caps that keep the logo stationary during rotation. At the rear, a 1,982mm gradient taillight mimics deep-sea tides. The overall dimensions of the Sea Lion 08 are 5,115mm in length, 1,999mm in width, and 1,800mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030mm. The digital cockpit is centred around a 17.3-inch central screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 26-inch AR-HUD. High-end comforts include 8-way electric adjustment for front seats with heating, ventilation, and 10-point massage functions. The six-seat version is equipped with “zero-gravity” seats for the driver and the rear right passenger, the latter of which supports lateral movement. For entertainment, the vehicle is equipped with a 21.4-inch high-definition ceiling screen for rear passengers and a 25-speaker Devialet sound system with Dolby Atmos. There is a 7.3L onboard refrigerator and a flexible cargo capacity: the five-seat version provides a 943L trunk and 201L front trunk, while the six-seat version offers 317L and 201L respectively (expanding to 1,173L with seats folded). Powertrain and performanceThe Sealion 08 is offered in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric (BEV) versions: PHEV: Powered by a 1.5T system with an engine maximum power of 115 kW. Single-motor versions deliver 200 kW (268 hp), while dual-motor versions feature two motors of 200 kW (268 hp) each. Equipped with a 55.843kWh second-generation Blade Battery, it offers a CLTC pure electric range of 350km to 400km and a combined range of up to 1,650km. BEV: The single-motor RWD variant delivers 370 kW (497 hp), while the dual-motor AWD variant features a 215 kW (288 hp) front motor and a 370 kW (497 hp) rear motor. Acceleration ranges from 5.9 to 3.9 seconds (0-100km/h). These models use a 115.072 kWh second-generation Blade Battery, achieving a CLTC range of 800km to 900km. Chassis and intelligenceThe Sealion 08 utilises a double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension. It is equipped with the DiSus-A intelligent air suspension system, enabling road preview, active rear-wheel steering, “crab walk” mode, and rollover prevention, resulting in a tight turning radius of 4.95m.
