Gasgoo Munich- BWI Group has officially launched its Brazil research and development center, the company announced on April 16. Located in the Sao Paulo region, the facility will focus on brake-by-wire technology, handling product development, platform localization, and technical support. The technology is already rolling off production lines globally, with a debut in South America slated for this year. Additionally, its iDBC1 integrated brake-by-wire system (1-Box) recently entered overseas mass production and is slated for future inclusion in the South American portfolio. Integrated Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) systems and caliper products will also support the global expansion of its core braking business.In the suspension sector, BWI Group holds the top spot among Chinese brands globally and stands as the only Chinese firm in the global top ten.
