The new model is offered in three variants with an official MSRP ranging from 179,900 yuan (26,500 USD) to 209,900 yuan (30,900 USD). PerformanceBuilt on an 800V architecture, the Electra L7 is powered by a rear-mounted motor delivering a maximum output of 282 kW (378 hp) and a peak torque of 382N·m, enabling a 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.6 seconds. The L7 is equipped with an 80.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by CATL, providing a maximum CLTC range of 702 km. The 6C fast charging capability allows the vehicle to gain 450 km of range in 10 minutes of charging. Buick has integrated a “Pre-view Floating Magic Carpet” chassis, which utilizes multi-sensor fusion to adjust suspension damping in milliseconds. Design and dimensionsThe exterior of the Electra L7 EV remains largely consistent with the extended-range version. Its dimensions are 5,032mm in length, 1,952mm in width, and 1,499mm (1,507mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000mm. The vehicle features semi-hidden door handles and 19-inch spoke wheels, with an option for 20-inch wheels on the top-tier trim. Two new exterior colors – Stardust Green and Cherry Blossom Pink – have been introduced. Intelligent Cockpit and InteriorThe L7 is powered by the Qualcomm SA8775P chip, offering an NPU neural computing power of 72 TOPS. The digital interface includes a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central multimedia touchscreen, and a 50-inch panoramic AR-HUD system. There is a 27-speaker Buick Sound theater-grade digital audio system and air-gesture control for front-row windows and seats. The cabin is available in six colors, including the newly added “Distant Mountain Emerald” and “Danxia Night Cruise.” All models come standard with dual 120° zero-gravity front passenger seats and rear seats featuring “cloud-sense” floating layers, all equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Smart drivingThe Electra L7 introduces the “Xiaoyao Zhixing” driver assistance system, powered by the Momenta R6 reinforcement learning large model. Buick further noted that an update to the R7 large model version will be delivered via a subsequent over-the-air (OTA) update.
