BMW makes a few changes aimed at making the X3 feel more premium. Additional lighting is added to the center console and front grab handles. Soft-touch trim and a new stitching pattern are applied to the upper dashboard. In the cargo area, a new stainless-steel scuff plate is added.
The most notable 2027 X3 change is for the high-performance M50 model, which gains 44 hp through revised engine tuning for a total of 437 hp.
Additionally, the X3 M50 is now offered with a Black package. Outside, it adds black 22-inch wheels over black M Sport brake calipers. Inside, black microfiber suede is applied to the center console armrest, door panels, wireless charging tray, and other areas. Aluminum-carbon trim, glass controls, a leather-covered steering wheel center, and M color stripe accents add to the sporty look.
