The Japan-Exclusive Lamborghini Revuelto ImpavidoLamborghiniIn Italian, impavido means fearless, intrepid, or undaunted. It describes someone who is completely unafraid or bold in the face of danger or a challenge. In Japanese the word would be Bushido, meaning "the way of the warrior." You'd have to be Bushido to get an Impavido.A regular Lamborghini Revuelto starts at over $600,000; imagine what this one will go for? Lamborghini's not saying what the price will be but there will be only 25 units of the new Revuelto Impavido made to commemorate 25 years of Lambo sales in Japan, the only place you can buy one.The basic Revuelto, of course, is a mid-engine V12 plug-in hybrid that serves as the direct successor to the mighty Aventador and all V12 Lambos before it. Revuelto is Lamborghini's first production electrified vehicle, combining a 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors to deliver 1,001 horsepower.1)Photo credit: LamborghiniLamborghini says the car was developed through its Ad Personam personalization program. The Revuelto Impavido features a livery inspired by key elements of samurai armor, reinterpreted through Lamborghini's design language.AdvertisementAdvertisement"Sharp, sculpted lines across the doors and rear bumper evoke the motion of a katana strike (katana is a short sword), symbolizing precision, speed, and controlled power, naturally aligned with Revuelto's cutting-edge design," the carmaker says. "Golden accents throughout the body recall the odoshi, the silk cords binding samurai armor plates, which traditionally expressed identity, hierarchy, and clan belonging."2)Photo credit: LamborghiniThe front end draws inspiration from the maedate, the crest mounted on a samurai helmet, symbolizing status, identity, and protection."Reinterpreted through Lamborghini's design language, it gives the car a bold and assertive presence, reinforcing both power and individuality. Decorative elements on the roof and fenders reference the kozane, the lacquered plates of samurai armour," Lambo says. "Reimagined through modern forms and textures, they enhance the sense of structure, precision, and layered construction shared by both samurai armour and the Revuelto's architecture."3)Photo credit: LamborghiniThe dedicated specification also includes Altanero forged rims in Shiny Black, Bronzo brake calipers, and matte black exhaust tailpipes. A dedicated interior combines Nero Ade leather and Corsa Tex with Bronzo Oreadi contrast details, bespoke seat embroidery, door pattern, roof embroidery, Samurai logo, and an individually numbered "1 di 25" carbon-fiber plate.4)Photo credit: LamborghiniThinking of moving to Japan and buying one? "The Revuelto Impavido is offered in four exclusively defined configurations, each carrying a specific meaning rooted in samurai symbolism. The two shiny versions include Verde Campus, inspired by Hisui jade, Japan's national stone and a symbol of life, fertility, and the soul of the earth, and Grigio Artis Lucido, inspired by the katana sword as an expression of loyalty, honour and master craftsmanship. The matte versions comprise of Grigio Crater Matte, inspired by black and grey samurai armour as a symbol of fearlessness, spiritual protection, and authority, and Rosso Pyra, inspired by Sanada Red, associated with bravery, strength and discipline. The shiny configurations combine Nero Noctis and Bronzo Oreadi accents, while the matte configurations feature Nero Nemesis and Bronzo Serse details, with exterior paint, liveries, and carbon-fibre elements sharing the same finish."5)Photo credit: LamborghiniAdvertisementAdvertisementInside are unique accent trims representative of samurai armor.6)Photo credit: Lamborghini"The Revuelto Impavido perfectly embodies Lamborghini's ability to unite innovation with cultural inspiration," said Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. "While the Revuelto represents our vision for the future of the super sports car, Impavido demonstrates how our Ad Personam program can transform that vision into a unique expression of identity and craftsmanship. Inspired by the values of Bushido, this project celebrates the dialogue between Italian design excellence and Japanese culture, creating a vehicle that is both unmistakably Lamborghini and deeply rooted in the character of Japan. It is through collaborations such as this that we continue to push the boundaries of personalization while remaining true to the values that define our brand."7)Photo credit: LamborghiniThe limited edition of 25 represents the 25 years Lamborghini has officially been on sale in Japan.
