Nio‘s 2026 Firefly has officially launched on April 7, offering two variants with prices ranging from 119,800 to 125,800 yuan (17,400 to 18,200 USD). Exterior updates The 2026 model features refined styling details, including a new Maillard-inspired body colour drawn from the orange-red bricks of Porto’s historic old town. Additional practical features include a 92L front trunk and blue LED indicators on the side mirrors signalling active intelligent driver assistance. Interior and technology The cabin receives a technology upgrade with the Aster 1.4.0 infotainment system. New features include panoramic parking locator, Switch game screen casting, customizable lock sounds, Firefly band ambient lighting ring, intelligent parking offset adjustment, and reverse path tracing. The vehicle also comes equipped with direct tyre pressure monitoring, a hidden storage compartment for the front passenger, and auto-dimming mirrors with memory function. The sprint from 0 to 100km/h takes 7.9 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the previous version. The battery capacity remains at 42.1kWh, delivering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 420km.
