Listen to that supercharger whine.
Hennessey has recently shared a YouTube POV test drive video featuring a rare product from the Texas tuner. It's the Mammoth 1000 Ram TRX Havoc Edition, and on the POV drive, we get to see up close what this truck is capable of – well, at least in a controlled proving ground.
This beast of a truck is based on the Ram TRX Havoc Edition, a special version of the mighty Ram 1500 TRX. It's then further enhanced with Hennessey's Mammoth 1000 upgrade package, which, as its name implies, means a thousand horsepower. That's how it could seemingly fly off that straight end of the track in the 4-minute mark in the video below.
The Mammoth 1000 TRX Havoc Edition went on a quick stint on a green field adjacent to the race track. On the tarmac, however, the huge, loud, and very Baja Yellow truck looks planted and stable even on the corners. Not bad for something that weighs north of 9,000 pounds.
Several upgrades were employed to its supercharger to achieve what it's doing on the video. According to the tuner, the truck's supercharger belt was swapped for a heavy-duty type, while its front and rear drive pulleys were upgraded. The company also worked to beef up the truck's engine control unit, spark plugs, fuel injectors, gaskets, fuel filtration system, and engine control unit.

Giving more visual pizzaz are some Hennessey-specific exterior bits. This includes a Mammoth-branded custom front and rear bumper, Hennessey and Mammoth exterior badges, embroidered headrests, and 20-inch 10-spoke wheels.
Hennessey does not list the Havoc Edition Mammoth 1000's pricing on its website, but it's undoubtedly expensive. The regular Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition costs $104,550, while the Mammoth 1000 was priced at around $135,000. The Mammoth TRX Havoc version should be priced more than that.
According to Hennessey, the Mammoth 1000 TRX Havoc Edition is restricted to just 1,500 units. This makes it as rare as the Mercedes-Benz G500 Final Edition launched earlier this year. Think of it as a special edition of a special edition model.
