This time it’s the 2022 Beijing Auto Show that’s at risk, with China experiencing its worst wave of the virus since the pandemic began. DEUS Will Drop Its New Electric Hypercar Named Vayanne On April 13
The DEUS Vayanne will be unveiled ahead of the New York International Auto Show on April 13, 2022. It’s the first time we’ve heard confirmation of what the new Austrian EV supercar will be officially called, named after the city of Vienna. Although the company has not yet revealed precise details about the car, it has previously said that it will be working with Williams Advanced Engineering and Italdesign on this project.

Arizona Becomes First State To Allow Digital Driver’s Licenses On Apple Devices For Air Travel
Arizona has become the first state to allow air travel with driver’s licenses and state IDs that are added within an Apple Wallet. For now, the digital driver’s license or state ID is only accepted at select TSA airport security checkpoints at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Users can simply tap their iPhone or Apple Watch to bring up the ID, and then present it to the identity reader. Fire Truck Crashes Into Nine Vehicles While Responding To Earlier Accident
In a bizarre accident, a fire truck managed to crash into nine vehicles on the I-15, in Spanish Fork, Utah. It’s hard to tell from the video, but the emergency vehicle, which was passing stationary traffic on the shoulder, clipped a car that could have been over the yellow line. The fire truck driver then lost control, side-swiping vehicles. No one was seriously hurt, but KSL reported the first two vehicles that were hit each had a woman and four children in them. All were apparently taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while three firefighters were also taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Conor McGregor Charged For Dangerous Driving
Conor Mcgregor is reported to have been charged for dangerous driving, having been arrested by Irish police on Tuesday. McGregor was allegedly behind the wheel of a Bentley Continental GT at the time, with the vehicle also seized.

Nico Hulkenberg will replace Sebastien Vettel for a second weekend running, with the four-time world champion failing to return a negative covid test in time for the second round of the 2022 F1 championship. Hulkenberg similarly subbed for Vettel at last week’s season opener, finishing 17th for Aston Martin.
