After more than two months of delay, Ola Electric has finally commenced deliveries of its S1 and the S1 pro electric scooter variant in India. According to sources, the electric scooter makers have organized a special event for their first 100 customers based on their booking sequence in Bangalore and Chennai.
The Ola S1 price starts at Rs 99,999, while the S1 Pro variant prices start at Rs 1,29,999 (both are ex-showroom Delhi-based prices).

The S1 promises a range of 121 km on a single charge while the S1 Pro model promises an impressive range of 181 km on a single charge

The S1 and S1 Pro offers plenty of features including a touchscreen infotainment screen that displays calls, SMS, and phonebook
Both the OLA S1 and S1 Pro have identical dimensions, seat height, and ground clearance. The electric scooter offers an impressive 36 Litre of underseat storage, which is large enough to store two full-size helmets.
Besides the impressive storage space, both the electric scooter variants get a 7 inch TFT touchscreen display instrument console. The instrument console displays calls, SMS, and phonebook. The scooter also gets proximity keyless entry, reverse mode, and onboard navigation, while the hill hold and cruise control features are limited to the S1 pro variant only.

Both the S1 and the S1 pro variants are powered by a 5,5 kW electric motor, the S1 variant gets a smaller 2,98 kWh battery while the S1 Pro gets a bigger 3,97 kWh battery pack
Both the electric scooter uses the same 5.5 kW electric motor. The S1 variant uses a 2.98 kWh lithium-ion battery, while the S1 pro variant uses a slightly bigger 3.97 kWh battery pack.
The S1 and the S1 Pro variants deliver a peak power of 8.6 kWh from the electric motor, which is supplied to the rear wheel via a belt drive.
The Ola S1 takes 7 seconds to accelerate from the 0-60 kmph mark. Ola claims the S1 offers a top speed of 90 kmph. The S1 Pro, on the other hand, can reach a top speed of 115 kmph.
