Huge savings on offer with tradie-spec D-MAX, plus drive-away deals on Peugeot 508 and Mitsubishi ASX
Tradies chasing a workhorse ute should take a look at Isuzu Ute Australia’s latest offer on its new entry-level 2022 Isuzu D-MAX SX High Ride 4×2 Single Cab Chassis 1.9L manual because there are some major savings to be had.
Usually retailing for $31,200 plus on-road costs, Isuzu has shaved a little over $1200 off the regular asking price and thrown in the on-road costs to offer its base model workhorse for $29,990 drive-away.
The deal actually gets sweeter than that because included in the price is an ‘economy alloy tray’ usually costing north of $2500.

Factor in the starting discount, the on-road costs and complimentary tray, and buyers stand to save many thousands of dollars.
The new 1.9-litre engine may not have the power and torque of the bigger 3.0-litre unit, but the SX High Ride 4×2 Single Cab Chassis’ payload is rated at 1405kg while the maximum braked towing capacity is pegged at a reasonable 2800kg. Gross combination mass (GCM) is 5300kg.
Just like it did last month with the Sportwagon, Peugeot is offering a drive-away deal on its 2021 Peugeot 508 GT automatic, bundling all the on-road costs in one handy $1000 premium as the company prepares for its MY22 allocation.

As usual with a drive-away deal like this, buyers can save themselves a lot of money in on-road costs, even when the asking price is a little more than the manufacturer’s recommended list price.
In this case, the Peugeot 508 GT usually retails for $56,990 plus on-road costs, but thanks to its MY21 plating, this sporty 165kW/300Nm family sedan can be had for $57,990 with no more to pay.
Over at Mitsubishi, the Japanese brand has had a phenomenal run with the Mitsubishi ASX and is continuing to offer specials on the hugely popular small SUV.
This time around it’s the entry-level 2022 Mitsubishi ASX ES 2WD automatic, which usually retails for $26,740 plus on-road costs.

The deal on offer sees the on-road costs bundled into a solitary $2500 premium, leaving the range-opening automatic with an attractive price of $28,240 drive-away.
