Following the launch of the new Citroën ë-Dispatch in November 2021, the popular Berlingo workhorse has also “EV-olved”, now sporting a fully electric drive and silent efficiency.
Despite its compact 50 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Citroën ë-Berlingo offers competitive figures in its segment as it can produce a maximum power of 100 kW (136 hp) at 260 Nm, with a top speed of 130 km/h.
Depending on your preferred driving style, three different driving modes can also be activated with a special ë-Toggle control – Eco (60 kW), Normal (80 kW) or Power (100 kW).
Depending on the drive mode selected, the Citroën ë-Berlingo delivers a maximum driving range of up to 293km on a single full charge. Drivers can also utilise the Brake Mode found on the central console, which uses regenerative braking technology to recoup a portion of energy back into the battery, further extending overall range.
Fast-Charging
The Citroën ë-Berlingo also comes with a 3-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty and a traction battery warranty of 8-year or 160,000 km (whichever is earlier) for absolute peace of mind when operating.
Design
Inside, the central console is home to an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen display integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Featuring the same design strengths as its diesel predecessor, the new Citroën ë-Berlingo boasts compact dimensions for better convenience. Measuring 4.753 m long with a height of just 1.848m, the van is able to conveniently access most carparks, including HDB multi-storey carparks.
Its large tailgate with 180-degree barn door opening, makes it convenient for loading and unloading heavy and bulky objects, even with the use of a forklift. The spacious cabin comes with a load volume of up to 3.8m3 , along with payload of up to 751kg.
