This is in line with the brand’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy to reduce its carbon footprint, and also to create exceptional and sustainable journeys for its customers. Currently, one of Cycle & Carriage’s steps towards electrification and sustainability includes the installation of photovoltaic systems in 6 of its locations i.e. Petaling Jaya, Mutiara Damansara, Batu Caves, Ipoh, Johor Bahru and Bukit Tengah, to harness solar energy which is a renewable resource. This system will offer a total capacity of 631 kWp which would supply about 20% of their buildings’ electricity needs.
To further augment the theme of electrification, fans of Mercedes-Benz and shoppers alike can walk into the store to get up close and personal with the latest vehicles from Mercedes-Benz. This includes a wide range of Mercedes-EQ vehicles which will be on display throughout the month, i.e. the EQA 250 AMG Line, the newly launched EQS 450+, and soon-to-be-launched EQB 350 4MATIC and EQC 400 4MATIC.
For its valued customers, Cycle & Carriage also organised a Mercedes-Benz Discovery programme on 6 August. 60 customers attended this workshop to get to know their cars better and to familiarise themselves with the brand’s aftersales service offerings. The workshop was conducted by product experts from both Cycle & Carriage and Mercedes-Benz Malaysia for customers to gain a deeper understanding about their vehicles, while getting a true brand experience in an intimate setting.
The neu by Cycle & Carriage concept store will be open until 31 October 2022 for everyone to experience Cycle & Carriage’s commitment to delivering service excellence, and an exceptional journey.
The coming months will include a line-up of exhibitions and workshops in the theme of “high-street fashion” in September and “outdoor adventure” in October.
The neu concept store is open to all from 10 AM to 10 PM daily. It is located at Lot G316, Level G, 1 Utama Shopping Centre (New Wing).
