CorvetteForum’s Most Popular Slideshows of 2022
2022 has been quite a year. Take a look back with us at all the Corvette Forum stories that captured our imagination.
Greatest Hits of ’22
We’re celebrating another year in the books. And here at Corvette Forum, we’ve had a wonderful time covering our favorite sports cars in 2022. Now, we take a look back at the slideshows that garnered the highest viewership over the course of the past year.
5. 1971 ZR2
Starting the list at number five is the slideshow on this super rare 1971 Corvette ZR2. This gorgeous convertible is one of just two units built. As it was being prepared to head to auction back in May, the all-original, unrestored C3 Corvette made the rounds in the enthusiast realm, and it caught the eyes of our audience with surprising viewership.
4. Things People Hate on the Corvette
The fact that this old slideshow shows up in this past year’s most popular slideshows had us doing a double take. But it’s true! Back in 2016 when the Curated Content Edit team was just getting started, we published a slideshow outlining a few things that people hate about America’s Sports Car. And over six years later, folks are still clicking on the title in massive numbers.
3. Cars That The Z06 Can Outrun
The highly exciting debut of the Z06 was a huge topic of discussion on this site. But while we waited for our members to begin taking deliveries of their Z06 orders, we wanted to take a look at some exotic sports cars, supercars, and hypercars that GM’s newest Z06 Corvette creation can smoke. The list, unsurprisingly, contains a who’s who of today’s best vehicles money can buy.
2. C7 Body Kits
The C7 generation of the Corvette is arguably the most popular iteration of the legendary nameplate among CorvetteForum members. It’s no surprise then, that a list of the 7 awesome body kits for the C7 ‘Vette was the second most viewed slideshow article of 2022.
1. C8 Crash in Vegas
And topping the list of Corvette Forum’s most-viewed slideshows of 2022 is this article on the C8 Corvette that was destroyed in Las Vegas during the week of SEMA. The poor Corvette was absolutely smashed to pieces, and it took down a couple of other vehicles with it, too. As much as we don’t like to see Corvettes annihilated, it’s hard to look away from the sight of a spectacular wreck.
