Classic Legends could debut its first electric motorcycle in 2024, Indian, 2-Wheels, Electric Bike, Jawa, Yezdi

Classic Legends is backed by Mahindra & Mahindra and owns the BSA, Jawa and Yezdi brands.

Classic Legends is said to be working on its first all-electric motorcycle. It could be unveiled globally in 2024.

According to media reports, Classic Legends has partnered with the University of Warwick to develop an affordable electric motorcycle. It could be sold under the BSA brand in European markets.

Classic Legends, backed by Mahindra & Mahindra, also owns the Jawa and Yezdi brands. The bike maker recently announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore to develop new products and expand its distribution network.

The brand’s main rival, Royal Enfield, is also working on an electric motorcycle. However, the Chennai-based bike maker will be targeting the premium end of the segment, before introducing affordable alternatives.
