A Brompton is probably the last bicycle you’d want to ride out in the wilderness. But that hasn’t stopped the British company from collaborating with a well-known survival expert for the Bear Grylls C Line Explore.

Similar to the normal C Line Explore, the trifold is made of steel weighing 12.2kg, and it features a six-speed drivetrain with a three-speed internal-gear hub and two external sprockets.
When folded, it measures 58.4cm long, 26.92cm wide, and 64.26cm high. The included handlebars are Brompton’s M Type for a casual and relaxed riding position.

The color scheme is a mix of Moss Green and Mushroom Gray to mimic the British woodlands, along with Adventure Orange accents. The bike rolls on a pair of puncture-resistant Schwalbe Marathon Racers that are 16 inches by 1.38 inches.
Complementing these are an all-weather Brooks C17 saddle, a waterproof backpack that attaches via the front carrier block, and a waterproof pouch that goes on the handlebars.
A Brompton is by no means affordable for a bicycle, with the normal C Line Explore already at £1,415 (P99,650). The Bear Grylls edition costs even more at £1,895 (P133,545) with limited units available globally.
