And A LOT of torque to boot.
Thanks to the Swedish megacar fanatics at Koenigsegg Registry, exciting new details about the production version of the Koenigsegg Gemera have come to light on the occasion of the niche automaker's new factory opening. The details were shared on Facebook and show Christian von Koenigsegg hosting a presentation against the backdrop of a gorgeously green Gemera with gold wheels.
Besides the fact that this would be the manufacturer's first four-seater, it was also set to introduce a highly innovative 600-horsepower three-cylinder engine called the Tiny Friendly Giant, which makes use of the automaker's Freevalve camshaft-free valve actuation system.
But in a shocking turn of events, it's now been revealed that the Gemera will feature a V8. Disappointed? Don't be. Instead of 1,700 horsepower, the Gemera is now poised to offer up to 2,300 rampaging ponies. Or would that be elk?
