Along with the upgraded 441 kW capable V8, the latest 600 Masterpiece from Brabus boasts a bright blue interior that will likely divide opinions on this opulent Maybach S-Class.

Turquoise is all of the craze for tuners lately. Mansory was even brave enough to finish the entire exterior of a Bentley Bentayga in the shade of blue. Fortunately, Brabus have only used the turquoise finish for the interior lining of their 600 Masterpiece. This includes the headliner, floor mats, boot lining and even steering wheel – blue overload.

Of course, that is all just an aspect of the work that Brabus has completed on the new Maybach S-Class. Using the S580 4Matic as a basis, the German tuner has subtly tweaked the exterior and given the motor a bit more grunt. The twin-turbocharged V8 now produces 441 kW and a sufficient 800 N.m which can help catapult this stately behemoth to 100 km/h from standstill in 4,5 seconds.

The model tops out at 250 km/h but some bodywork upgrades by Brabus ensure that airflow is optimised. Carbon fibre bits sit on the front and rear of the 600 Masterpiece which helps redirect airflow to the front brakes and radiator. Customers can opt to have the add-ons finished in gloss or matte. The rear end receives a carbon fibre diffuser which houses the rectangular tips on each side.
On all four corners sit the massive 22-inch Brabus Monoblock wheels which are wrapped in sizable 265/35 rubber up front and 305/30 rubber at the rear. To enhance all of the upgrades of the ominous sedan, air suspension now lowers the model by 20 mm.
Fortunately, buyers wanting to purchase a Brabus from the tuner can specify the model in exactly the tastes that appeal to them which means the turquoise interior isn’t going to be imparted onto each 600 Masterpiece created.
