Jaguar’s Mitch Evans continued his fine form topping the time sheets in FP3 in Berlin.
The session got underway in damp conditions, giving many drivers their first experiences with the Hankook tyres in the wet.
Rene Rast brought out the red flag in his McLaren after a technical issue caused him to stop in the run-off at turn three, requiring him to be collected by the marshalls.
Times were slower than those posted in the sessions yesterday, with the damp conditions levelling the field.
Plenty of the drivers struggled with the conditions, being right on the edge with the low grip levels on the track.
Both Andretti cars finished the session in the top ten after neither advanced into the duels yesterday. Andre Lotterer finished the session in second and Jake Dennis in eighth.
The NIO 333 package continued to show its strength over one lap as Dan Ticktum ended the session in third. The Briton will hope to qualify well in order to limit the impact of his five-place grid penalty.
A strong session for ABT saw both of their cars in the top ten for the first time this season, Nico Muller putting a lap together good enough for fourth while Robin Frijns ended the session in sixth.
After narrowly missing out on the podium yesterday, both Envision cars also made it into the top ten; Sebastian Buemi sixth and Nick Cassidy in seventh.
