The Ejipura flyover project was started in 2018 to connect a 2.5 km stretch from Kendriya Sadan to Ejipura. The project’s target completion date was set for 2024, but due to various issues, including the bankruptcy of Simplex Infrastructure Ltd, the project has been delayed.

It’s been 5 long years since the Ejipura flyover project was started. But due to various issues (some of which probably involve a lot of finger-pointing and head-scratching), it’s still not finished. In the modern day, it’s become a bit of a joke. A cruel, inconvenient, and very unfunny joke.
At the very least, had the structures not been built at all, road users would have been able to use the full width of the road. With the pillars located near a busy junction, their presence has stiff-armed motorists out of precious road leading to traffic congestion, and even more frustration.
