Now, Dominar is a popular bike from Bajaj that has found decent success. Bajaj manufactures bikes for all the major segments in our market which is why it is one of the most successful bike companies in the world. On the other hand, the Suzuki Hayabusa finds a place on the opposite end of the spectrum being a premium motorcycle that a lot of celebrities own. Let us see how these two can be related.

Bajaj Dominar 400 Modified to Suzuki Hayabusa
The video clip has been uploaded by bittoobikemodification227 on YouTube. It showcases a bright red Dominar that has been heavily modified to mimic the legendary superbike. At the front, one could faintly recognize the resemblance with the Dominar from the headlamp design and the headlight setup. The sharp creases at the front extend to the side giving the bike a sporty demeanour. The wind visor and side mirrors offer a premium feel along with the graphics around the headlamp cluster.

The side profile of this bike is not visible in this video. But that is exactly where the distinction would have been found. The original Suzuki Hayabusa is rounded, beefy and huge from the sides. In fact, that is the characteristic that distinguishes it from every other superbike. With a regular Dominar, we imagine that it would be a problem to add that fat to the body. Nevertheless, we are impressed by what the design house has been able to achieve anyway.

Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with a 373-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that develops 40 PS and 35 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with a slip- and assist clutch. Dual-channel ABS comes standard. The perimeter frame underpins the bike. At the front, there is a 43 mm open cartridge inverted fork while the rear has a gas-charged monoshock absorber. It has a 13-litre fuel tank and tips the scales at 193 kg with a ground clearance of 157 mm. The Dominar 400 is priced at Rs 2.25 lakh, ex-showroom.
