By 2025, Audi plans to have a sizable lineup of more than 10 all-electric vehicles. Half of the more than 20 new models Audi intends to introduce by 2025 will be EVs, including the Q6 e-tron. The next-generation Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture for premium EVs is the foundation for the Q6 e-tron.
With the release of the Q6 e-tron SUV, Audi will introduce a coupé-SUV model known as the Sportback. This is anticipated to give up some price and utility in exchange for a more stylish and aerodynamic body form, which will result in a minor increase in range. The Q6 e-tron will sit in between the Audi Q4 e-tron and the Q8 e-tron, both of which are now available for purchase worldwide.
The 800-volt electric design of the Q6 e-tron will enable extremely quick charging rates. It should include choices for dual-motor, all-wheel drive; the Q4 e-tron is also available in several foreign countries with rear-wheel drive.
The Q6 e-tron’s body lines and creases are likewise only partially concealed by the camo. It should have a sizable covered hexagonal EV grille up front like the Q4 e-tron EV. The Q6 e-tron’s taillights have stylish LED accents at the back. The photographs don’t show much else, and Audi describes the prototype as production-oriented.
After going on sale worldwide, the Audi Q6 e-tron may potentially reach Indian soil. In India, Audi now offers sales of the e-tron, e-tron Sportback, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT.
