Aston Martin plans to produce only 40 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pros. The Aston Martin Valkyrie is the culmination of elegance, performance and in incredible application of Formula 1 technology to a road car. Luxurious touches act as a veil for the brutish nature of the Valkyrie. Born from the desire to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the beautiful and equally potent hybrid hypercar has already established itself as a capable track weapon. That being said, the Valkyrie has now received a tweak or two and has now evolved into the jaw-dropping hypercar known as the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro.

A true ascension from an already stellar platform, the AMR Pro is perhaps the pinnacle of automotive engineering. Aston Martin CEO, Tobias Moers sums up the AMR Pro perfectly, “Nothing else looks like it, nothing else sounds like it, and I am absolutely certain nothing else will drive like it!”
The most striking element of the AMR Pro is perhaps its astounding and breathtaking bodywork. Side-by-side with the Valkyrie, the resemblance is there, but the track-orientated AMR Pro is an exuberant ad even more radical variation on the Valkyrie theme. The evolution of the car has seen the introduction of a longer chassis and a wider wheelbase. Accompanied by a very aggressive aerodynamic package that adds 266 mm in length and doubles the amount of downforce – the AMR Pro is the epitome of no hold barred aerodynamics and performance.

The AMR Pro utilises a naturally-aspirated 6,5-litre V12 engine built by Cosworth. The first iteration of the Valkyrie produced 820 kW, while the AMR Pro produces 740 kW. Despite a lower power output, the AMR Pro is more akin to an F1 car than the “regular” Valkyrie. Claims suggest that the AMR Pro can rev up to 11 000 rpm and the violent acceleration capabilities induce a whopping 3G’s.
