The lucky 150 can also add in a personalized pit garage accessory kit.
We’re still waiting to see the Aston Martin Valkyrie on the road and in the flesh, but the company is already adding to the options list. That includes massive customization options as well as an AMR Track Performance Pack to make the road cars even better on the circuit.
Aston still hasn’t given us the total power level for the car. Just that it will put out 1,000 hp from the naturally aspirated V12 that can spin to 11,000 rpm. That’s the power before the Formula 1-style hyrbid system sees action. But for some reason, they seem concerned about the performance of the car. So to that end, the 150 road-going versions of the car can be optioned with the AMR Track Performance Pack.
That pack includes some serious new hardware. Like an entire new front clam body panel that changes the aero balance to deliver more downforce and more efficiency. Oh, and it comes with a second set of all of the other body panels too.
That’s not all, though. Buyers get titanium brakes, a new track-focused suspension – because we’re sure the standard car is Buick-like in its suppleness of ride – and magnesium wheels with carbon fibre aero-discs.
The lucky 150 can also add in a personalized pit garage accessory kit. That comes with a race suit and other necessary pit-lane goodies. No word if it includes the services of Red Bull Racing CTO Adrian Newey and a brace of team mechanics on off-weekends.
The Track Pack can be had in one of three special AMR liveries, or pretty much any finish you can dream up thanks to Q by Aston Martin.
Buyers wanting to keep their ride of the Valkyrie on public roads can pick from a large range of customization options as well. Including four Designer Specification themes and unique Valkyrie colours.
Aston’s Q customization division can add just about anything an owner might want. Including exposed carbon instead of painted, titanium badges, various Alcantara and seatbelt colours, and wen leather.
If you really want some flash, Q can add options like a 24-carat gold leaf livery under the clearcoat. Or a Mokume Carbon Fibre pack with carbon for the inside of the headlights, sidepods, and armrest.
Of course, to show the buyer what they’re ordering requires some new methods at the dealer. At Aston’s Gaydon HQ, new virtual reality tech lets buyers see the car they’ve specced out, inside and out. Aston Martin calls the Valkyrie “one of the world’s most customizable cars.”
