Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate: The last one of its kind
Here it is, folks. The Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate marks the end of the DBS nameplate, which has been the pinnacle of the brand’s series production range since 2018.
Yes, you guessed right, electrification is the cause here, and if you recall, the Gaydon-based marque plans to electrify its GT and SUV sports cars by 2030. This is just the tip of the iceberg; more is still coming.
Off the bat, the DBS 770 Ultimate wields the same twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine that has been massaged to deliver 574 kW or 770 horses as its suffix suggests, plus a colossal 900 Nm of torque. This makes the DBS 770 the most powerful Aston Martin ever. It will blister to a 340 km/h top speed while shuffling through an enhanced ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
With great power comes great responsibility; hence the DBS 770 features the standard DBS ceramic brakes that measure 410 mm x 38 mm at the front and 360 mm x 32 mm at the rear.
In the looks department, Aston Martin worked hard to give the DBS 770 a bespoke look, thanks to a 2×2 twill carbon fibre cant-rail, windscreen surround, mirror caps and fender louvre. There is also a new carbon fibre sill and a unique design rear diffuser.
It blisters around wearing new and unique 21” wheels available in three finishes; satin silver finish, black satin finish or optional satin black with a diamond-turned finish, your choice. These are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero high-performance tyres that measure 265/35 R21 at the front and 305/30 R21 at the rear.
Moving inside, the DBS 770 Ultimate is equipped with Sports Plus Seats trimmed in full semi-aniline leather and Alcantara, featuring a ‘fluted’ quilt and perforation pattern as standard. Buyers can have the performance seats at an additional charge.
There is a bespoke trim split coated in contrast colours, a tailor-made strap, plus a buckle badge with a laser-etched DBS 770 Ultimate emblem on the centre armrest. Carbon fibre paddle shifters come standard.
As expected, there is a set of unique sill plaques that depict Aston Martin wings, the DBS 770 Ultimate logo and Limited-Edition numbering signifying the vehicle as one of 300 Coupes or 199 Volantes.

Aston Martin plans to begin the DBS 770 production in the first quarter of 2023 and customer deliveries are slated to begin in the third quarter.
