Mazda 3
The Mazda 3 is offered in hatchback configuration only, however, customers have a choice between six derivatives. For this segment, we will be focussing on the Mazda 3 hatch 1.5 in Dynamic guise and will be comparing it to the Toyota Corolla hatch 1.2T in XS guise, which is similarly priced and sized. Mazda CX-3
The Mazda CX-3 crossover is also offered in six derivatives, however, unlike the Mazda 3, only come with one engine option. Competing against the Mazda CX-3 2.0 Dynamic as it is similarly priced and sized is the Honda HR-V 1.5 in Comfort guise. Verdict
As can be seen in the comparisons, in one area the Mazda products are more expensive than their counterparts, but in other areas, they are more affordable. The result is that they are very competitively priced in terms of repairs needed should the vehicle be in an accident. As such, from this comparison, we can conclude that the repair costs on Mazda products are relative to their segments.
