Powered by an 850-horsepower Hellcat V8, the Super Truck is an unstoppable force.
Apocalypse Manufacturing has revealed its latest project, the Super Truck 4×4. Based on the humble Ram 1500, this menacing truck is a sinister-looking beast with a mighty supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 with 850 horsepower. The Super Truck is actually just the four-wheeled version of the Juggernaut 6×6, which was revealed last year.
With that much power under the hood, the Super Truck should make light work of just about any task. Off-roading comes naturally to this brute, thanks to its many upgrades. Chunky 40-inch tires envelop the stylish 22-inch SFJ wheels and contribute to the colossal height of the vehicle. At 83 inches tall, 98 inches wide, and 240 inches long, it's a seriously imposing machine and won't blend into the traffic.
The Super Truck is equipped with locking differentials as well as a Dana 60 axle, making it virtually unstoppable off-road. Florida-based Apocalypse Manufacturing has also gone with an open-wheel well design, which allows for greater tire travel.

The company claims the vehicle is capable of ramp-launching ten feet off the ground without breaking a sweat. The driver can select from five off-road drive modes which adjust the shocks and suspension accordingly: Sport, Drag Race, Baja, Rock, and Mud. A custom mode also allows you to program and save your preferences.
It's practical, too, thanks to the 15,000-pound towing capacity – that's 1,500 lbs more than the mild-hybrid Ram 1500 5.7-liter V8 offers.
But let's be honest – you're not buying this because you need a practical pickup truck. No, customers will almost certainly be drawn in by the extroverted exterior and dramatic details. At the front, you'll find a steel “Grumper” (a combination of grille and bumper) that puts one in mind of Hannibal Lecter. The entire vehicle has been coated in what Apocalypse calls armored epoxy coating.

This rugged finish suits the vehicle's persona and serves a useful purpose as it protects the vehicle from rocks, dirt, or any other roughness one may encounter when off-roading. Complementing the front-mounted “Grumper” is the slate-piled rear steel bumper which makes the Super Truck “impenetrable to external forces.” Hmmm.
Various auxiliary lights festoon the exterior; there's a roof-mounted light bar, marker lights on the hood, and a set of fog lamps in the front fascia.
The rear is also where you will find the weatherproof slant-back cover. At a glance, there's a hint of the Tesla Cybertruck in the design, which may put some customers off and turn others on. With a roll and lock cover, it's a useful addition that occupants can utilize to conceal valuables.
Inside, the rugged styling makes way for a sumptuously-appointed cabin filled with gadgets and the latest luxuries. Just about every inch of the cabin has been trimmed in leather, seen here in a sporty black and red combo.

The Super Truck ships standard with power-adjustable front seats, a Harmon Kardon surround sound system, heated and cooled seats, and even power steps forming part of the equipment list. A birds-eye view camera makes maneuvering the truck in tricky spots easier. Taller clients will be pleased to know this behemoth will comfortably seat a seven-foot-tall person, which is reason enough to buy for some.
“We wanted to combine medieval, barbaric design that is impossible to ignore with the ferocity of the HEMI Hellcat engine,” said Joseph Ghattas, owner, engineer, and head designer of Apocalypse Manufacturing. “There isn't another 4×4 on the market that has the speed, size, reliability, comfort, space, and off-road/on-road features as our latest creation.”
If you're interested, be prepared to fork out $159,999. That's a lot of cash, but the Super Truck 4×4 looks like a bargain compared to the Apocalypse Warlord, a six-wheeled monster that costs $250,000. There's also a smaller Bronco-based six-wheeler if these Ram-based trucks are a touch too big for your tastes.
