MG Australia has fully detailed its MG4 electric car line-up, with the most affordable version clocking in at $44,990 before on-road costs.
This makes it one of the most affordable EVs in Australia, positioned just slightly above the $44,490 drive-away GWM Ora and the same price as the MG ZS Excite EV.
The base MG4 is known as the Excite, and sports a 64kWh battery for a WLTP-verified driving range of 450km.
This is noticeably more than the 48kWh battery and 320km of driving range offered in the most affordable GMW Ora, known as the Standard Range.
The GMW Ora Extended Range serves up a comparable 63kWh battery and 420km of driving range, but raises the asking price to $48,490 driveaway.
Moving up the MG4 line-up, the mid-tier Essence is fitted with the same 64kWh battery as the entry-level Excite, but range is cut to 435km and pricing moves up to $47,990 before on-road costs.
