To me the Elevate seems like a feature rich car in comparison to my pre-facelift Jeep Compass.

I finally got a chance to see the Honda Elevate at the Frontier Honda showroom on Sohna road in Gurgaon today.
Contrary to other users, my impressions of the car are quite good. I found the interiors quite nice looking and spacious. The car on display was a Blue version and it looks really nice in that colour. The infotainment and Driver information system are also simple and nice.
Here are some pics of the car I took.
To me it seems like a feature rich car (in comparison to my Gen 1 Jeep Compass )
I found the build quality at par with the segment, if not better. The interiors are also much better than its competitors like the Kushaq, Taigun, Grand Vitara and the Hyryder.
After seeing the car in person. I have booked the Elevate in ZX CVT and have also cancelled my Hycross booking (after waiting over 9 months for delivery!). To me the Hycross ZX which now costs 34.4 lacs in Gurgaon on road makes no sense (we don’t need another 7 seater as we already have Hector Plus too). The Honda elevate should be a good 13-14 lacs cheaper on road and actually has better interiors than the Hycross (I checked both vehicles again to confirm).
I also measured the Elevate boot space (using physical dimension measurement ) and found the usable boot space to be 354 L (Below parcel shelf), which is much better than the Seltos, Creta and my Compass).
So for now have decided to go ahead with the Elevate. But price announcement is expected on Sep 4th and the service advisor is expecting an on road price of 19lacs for the top end Zx cvt version, which will be good value.
The car while not outstanding in any specific area, will be good in most areas and is a practical choice.
