The entry-level Adventure Tourer segment just got a whole lot hotter with the TRK 251
Benelli has launched the TRK 251 in India at a starting price of 2.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-new Adventure Tourer from Benelli will join the TRK family in India which currently includes the TRK 501 and the 502X.
Benelli has launched the TRK 501 in January 2021, followed by the TRK 502X in March and their only power cruiser offering the 502Cin July. That said, here is what you need to know about the upcoming entry-level dual-purpose adventure tourer from Benelli.
Five things you need to know about the Benelli TRK 251
• The TRK 251 takes its styling inspiration from the bigger and more powerful TRK 501. The dual-purpose adventure tourer features high-set dual LED headlamps, followed by a non-adjustable windscreen on top. It gets a wide handlebar which will help in easy maneuverability within the city. The visible steel trellis frame and upswept chrome exhaust pipes are some of the signature styling cues of Benelli’s TRK range.
• Powering the TRK 251 will be a BS6 compliant, 249 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected liquid-cooled engine paired to a six-speed gearbox. The unit produces about 25.4 BHP of peak power at 9,250 rpm and 21.1 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The motorcycle gets a massive 18 litre fuel tank that will provide a decent range.
• An upside-down fork at the front and a mono-shock suspension setup at the rear take care of the suspension. The TRK 251 runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. and offers a ground clearance of 170 mm.
• The braking duties of the motorcycle are handled by a single 280 mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. A dual-channel ABS comes as standard with the motorcycle.
• The TRK 251 will be offered in three colour options – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Grey

The Benelli costs Rs 2.51 Lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, BMW G310 GS, and the KTM Adventure 250.
