We’ve been getting to know the Infiniti QX60 on a personal level to learn every single thing about this luxury SUV. While it’s a refined, comfortable, and athletic three-row SUV, it’s not perfect. Check out a few pros and cons with the 2022 Infiniti QX60.

Check out the 2022 Infiniti QX60. It was just redesigned for this model year. It got a brand new design, an upgraded interior, and advanced tech. The QX60 is more spacious than before a much smarter.
It’s well equipped to tackle rivals like the 2022 Acura MDX and Lincoln Aviator but still has a little work to do. A few things hold it back from being the top option in its class. However, there are plenty of reasons to purchase this elegant family SUV.
PRO: The Infiniti QX60 is fun to drive
The 2022 Infiniti QX60 has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 295 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. According to Edmunds, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds.
This is average for the class, but the QX60 feels peppy, and the transmission provides smooth shifts. The Sport Mode adjusts the response times for a more engaging ride. Plus, it provides a satisfying engine roar.
The QX60 feels confident around curves with little body roll. It’s agile and smooth, making any excuse to go for a spin more than worth it.
PRO: The Infiniti QX60 is comfortable
The Infiniti QX60 prioritizes comfort with plenty of seat adjustments. The ride is smooth, and the interior is pretty quiet. The automatic start and stop feature is very fast and quiet. Also, it prioritizes air conditioning on hot days.
We noticed that the QX60 saves your settings. So, if you have the ventilated seats on and cut the engine to run into a store, the features aren’t turned off. When you restart the engine, the ventilated seats are still activated, so you don’t have the activate comfort features again.
In other vehicles, the features return to the standard modes when you turn off the engine. That means you have to readjust the climate controls, driving modes, and ventilated seats even if you only run into a store for about five minutes.
CON: Passenger space is limited
While the 2022 Infiniti QX60 features massive seats in the front row, taller people may want a little more space in the second row. At 5’1″, I felt a little crowded, but the second row provides more space than the Acura MDX.
The third row is reserved for kids, but this isn’t surprising. It’s normal for the class. Kids around 4’5″ should be fine back there, and they get their own USB ports. Also, it’s not too much of a squeeze to get back there.
PRO: The Infiniti QX60 has plenty of cargo space
The 2022 Infiniti QX60 has tons of cargo space if you get to fold the third row down. It provides 14.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row and 41.6 cubic feet behind the second row, with up to 75.4 cubes total.
You can access the in-floor trunk for extra space. Plus, the center console and glove box are very accommodating. There are plenty of storage trays and cubbies around the interior for personal items. If you need more room, the QX60 can tow up to 6,000 lbs.
PRO: The tech is intuitive
The 2022 Infiniti QX60 has a 12.3-inch touchscreen with vibrant graphics. It works quickly and has standard wireless Apple CarPlay. You can connect your phone in a matter of seconds. The menus are easy to customize too.
We were impressed by the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster that can be customized. Also, the 17-speaker Bose audio system provides premium sound quality. However, the backup camera has a narrow field of view, and the parking sensors seemed a bit sensitive.
CON: A few things are missing

We had the 2022 Infiniti QX60 Luxe trim for a week with an MSRP of $54,900. That’s a high price tag, but it didn’t include the wireless phone charging pad, head-up display, ambient interior lighting, and wireless Android Auto.
While wireless Android Auto isn’t available, the other features are reserved for higher trims. However, rivals like the Kia Telluride include this equipment at a much lower price. The second-row captain’s chairs are reserved for higher trims too.
CON: The Infiniti QX60 isn’t the best on fuel
We drove the 2022 Infiniti QX60 all over the state. We traveled up curvy mountain roads, on the highway, and in tight downtown city areas and averaged about 19.4 mpg. Perhaps we should have spent more time in Eco Mode.
The Infiniti QX60 gets an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in the city and up to 26 mpg on the highway. AWD reduces these figures by a bit, but we never got close to 26 mpg, even while traveling for long stretches on the interstate.
While the QX60 could provide a little more value and passenger space, it’s a well-rounded option. It’s an engaging daily driver that’s comfortable. It’s refined and luxurious without much fuss.
