If you’re looking for a new family SUV, then consider hauling your kids in the Hyundai Tucson. It’s an excellent option unless you need three rows for everyone to fit. But the 2022 Hyundai Tucson is still spacious and checks multiple boxes.

Yes, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson is an excellent SUV for families to enjoy. While the 2022 Tucson seems to be flying under the radar, it has multiple advantages to consider. It’s value-packed, spacious, comfortable, and safe.

Many options are available, including the Tucson Hybrid to save fuel and the rugged Tucson XRT for off-roading adventures. If you need a new daily driver that’s also well-equipped for trips, then check it out.

1. The 2022 Tucson is a bargain

You can get thwarted with the 2022 Hyundai Tucson for about $24,950. The 2022 Toyota RAV4 comes in at $26,975, and the 2022 Honda CR-V begins at around $26,800. Despite being cheaper than its rivals, the Tucson doesn’t skimp on value with a luxurious interior.

It has standard 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, an 8-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, driver attention warning, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping assist, and rear-seat reminder.

The standard 2.5-liter engine has a respectable 187 hp. The turbocharged 1.6-liter engine in the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid generates 227 hp and gets an EPA-estimated 38 mpg in the city and on the highway.

The Tucson PHEV churns out 261 hp with a range of up to 33 miles on a single charge and 84 MPGe, providing significant savings at the pump.

2. The Hyundai Tucson is comfortable and spacious

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson provides an incredibly smooth ride over bumps and cracks in the pavement. It hardly has any body roll to keep motion sickness at bay, and the interior is peacefully quiet.

There is enough space in the front and rear for adults and larger kids to stretch out. Three can fit in the rear without much fuss. Storage is pretty good for personal items, too, thanks to a nicely sized center console.

You can access up to 38.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and up to 80.3 cubes overall. The seats fold flat to create a level load floor. Plus, the wide hatch is wide with a low liftover height. You can easily fit large boxes and awkward items.

3. The Tucson is safe

The Tucson has wide door openings to help make installing child seats easier. It has excellent roof and structure strength and received superior ratings for its capacity to avoid collisions. The headlights are bright and great for driving at night too.

If you want more capability, the Hyundai Tucson XRT has 19-inch black painted wheels, side steps, protective cladding, revised bumpers, AWD lock, downhill descent control, and a Snow mode.

Don’t miss out on the 2022 Tucson! It could provide all the space, comfort, and peace of mind that your family needs.
