According to Edmunds, Nissan gave the Murano a 3.5-liter V6 engine as standard. Buick, meanwhile, gave the Envision a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine as standard.
The Murano’s V6 gets 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque, and that is more power than what the Envision gets. The Envision’s 2.0-liter engine gets 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This means that the Nissan has about 32 hp more than the Buick does. That said, the Envision has slightly more torque, as it gets about 18 lb-ft more torque than the Murano gets.
And, since the Buick’s engine is smaller and weaker, it’ll be more fuel efficient. It gets about 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on highways, for 26 mpg combined.
