Production for the larger Fisker SUV, Ocean, is set to begin in November 2022. Alternatively, the Pear won’t go on sale until 2024, so we expect production to start much closer to that time. Pear is an acronym; the electric vehicle isn’t named after a fruit. Furthermore, it’s the Fisker Personal Electric Automotive Revolution. For under $30,000, the compact, five-passenger electric crossover will attempt to be the next step in EV innovation.
Fisker promises “intuitive controls, sporty driving, clever storage, and a focus on industry firsts.” To which industry firsts is the automaker referring?
