The entire Renault range in India is now RDE complaint and meets BS6 Step 2 emission standards. The automaker has equipped all its cars with a self-diagnostic device to constantly monitor emission levels and other critical emission devices.
The 2023 Renault Kwid features a tire pressure monitoring system, ESP, hill start assist (AT only), and traction control as standard across the range. Renault has also added a new entry-level RXE variant, priced at Rs 4.69 lakh, and bookings for the updated model are now open. However, the manufacturer is yet to announce the delivery dates. But the deliveries are likely to start in the coming few months.
In addition, the Kwid range now includes ORVM turn indicators and select variants have steering-mounted audio and phone controls.
ESP, HSA, traction control, and tire pressure monitoring systems are available in select Kwid variants.
The 2023 Renault Kwid RXE variant is powered by the 1.0-liter engine. It comes with ORVM turn indicators and steering-mounted audio and phone controls. There is also the regular 800cc three-cylinder unit producing 52bhp/72Nm and mated to a five-speed manual. The RXE variant has both the five-speed manual or a five-speed automated manual transmission options.

2023 Kiger and Triber
Both the 2023 Renault Kiger and 2023 Triber now come with standard safety features like electronic stability programme (ESP), hill start assist (HSA), traction control system (TCS) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The Triber now also gets chrome door handles and seat upholstery.
Both Renault Kwid and Kiger has 4-star Safety Rating for Adult occupants as tested by Global NCAP. The Kwid has been quite popular in the Indian market since its launch, especially due to its SUV-inspired design theme.
In India, the Renault Kwid rivals cars like Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, WagonR, Celerio and the likes. It even takes on the cars like Hyundai Santro. While the market share of SUVs continues to rise, small cars and hatchbacks remain the favourite of the Indian market.
