Kia has one of the coolest SUVs on the market right now. With all of the popularity, there are a lot of questions surrounding the 2023 Kia Telluride. Does the 2023 Kia Telluride have Wi-Fi? Does the Kia sport utility vehicle have eight seats or seven? If you are considering this brand-new midsize SUV, check out some of its best features below.

Does the 2023 Kia Telluride have Wi-Fi?

According to the official Kia press release, the 2023 Kia Telluride comes standard with a Wi-Fi Hotspot. This hotspot allows up to five devices to connect to 4G LTE-based internet. That means the whole car can be connected to the internet while on road trips, offering better navigation and entertainment along the way.

Using the Wi-Fi Hotspot requires an active Kia Connect program subscription. However, Map and Infotainment Over-The-Air (OTA) updates are another benefit of Kia Connect. The 2023 Telluride has Connected Routing through the Connect program and can offer the best route using real-time traffic information.

Buyers of the 2023 Kia SUV get a one-year subscription to Kia Connect Ultimate. This allows drivers to use the app to find the vehicle, remotely start the engine, set the climate, and even lock/unlock the doors.

Which 2023 Kia Telluride has eight seats?

Buyers can configure the 2023 Kia Telluride in a few ways. The Telluride has three rows and can fit seven or eight passengers. For those who opt for second-row captain’s chairs, this configuration allows easy access to the third row but does lose a seat.

To fit eight passengers in the Telluride, buyers must opt for the bench seat. A bench seat fits two passengers in the front, three in the second row, and three in the third. One of these configurations should work depending on how many passengers you regularly drive around.

If this is an essential feature, confirm that the trim level you are looking at has the correct number of seats. AutoTrader says the 2023 Telluride EX adds leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and a hands-free power rear liftgate. It loses the second-row captain’s chairs but adds one more passenger.

The new 2023 Kia Telluride has many premium features. Nappa leather seating trim is available in five colors, and buyers can opt for various luxury options throughout the interior. Both the front and second-row captain’s chairs have available heated and ventilated seats.

Kia says the captain’s chairs have best-in-class second-row legroom, making the SUV even more comfortable. Not to mention the nine airbags and additional second-row airbags to keep all of those passengers safe.

These are some of the best features of the 2023 Kia Telluride, but there are plenty of upgrades for those interested. Kia has made the Telluride SUV one of the most popular and versatile options in the midsize SUV category, one that isn’t short on competition.
