Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2023 XPulse 200 4V in India with prices starting at Rs 1,43,516 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle is available in a choice of two variants: standard and Pro. It is to be noted that the XPulse 200 4V Rally edition is now called the XPulse 200 4V Pro, priced at Rs 1,50,891 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This update has brought a few notable changes to the adventure motorcycle. Including the new BS6 phase-2 update.
2023 Herp XPulse 200 4V: What’s new?
To begin with, the updated 2023 XPulse 200 4V retains its overall design and bodywork. However, there is a redesigned headlamp and a daytime running light that claims to have a 230 percent increased light intensity. With this, it gets new switchgear that has three modes for the new headlight. Hero has also equipped it with a 60mm taller windscreen, which we expect to provide better wind protection at high speeds.
On top of that, one of the new key features include multi-mode anti-lock braking system (ABS). With this, riders can now select from three modes: Road, Offroad, and Rally. However, it still continues with single-channel ABS.
Moreover, the XPulse 200 4V comes with an updated USB charging socket and new sturdier knuckle guards. To improve the riding posture, Hero has given it reprofiled foot pegs. The repositioned foot pegs are 35mm lower and 8mm rear set. Whereas, there is also a tweaked rear luggage rack.
2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V: Colours
The updated XPulse 200 4V comes with four paint options: Matte Nexus Blue, Techno Blue, Black Sports Red, and Pro White. The Pro variant further gets distinctive graphics.
2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V: Engine and Transmission
Powering the 2023 XPulse 200 4V is a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled four-valve engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. This motor produces 19.1PS at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The two-wheeler manufacturer has updated the engine to comply with new BS6 phase-2 emission regulations and thus it is fitted with OBD-2. Notably, it can also run on E20 fuel.
