All 2023 Bentley Bentayga Extended Wheelbase models are powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it generates 542 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the standard wheelbase Bentayga model, the Bentayga EWB won’t offer a hybrid engine or the more powerful W-12 engine.
The 0-60 mph acceleration time of the 2023 Bentayga EWB is 4.5 seconds. Its top speed is 180 mph. For greater maneuverability, the Bentayga EWB features a rear-wheel steering system. According to Bentley, the Bentayga EWB has a shorter turning circle than the standard wheelbase model. Also, the Bentayga EWB comes standard with an anti-roll system.
Added rear legroom and new Airline Seat for the 2023 Bentayga EWB

The most obvious difference between the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase and the standard wheelbase model is the added length. With a 7.0-inch extension, the length of the Bentayga EWB increases to 208.9 inches. The beneficiary of this extra length is the rear-seat passengers, for the Bentayga EWB offers more rear legroom compared to the standard wheelbase Bentayga.
In addition to the increased legroom, the Bentayga offers a more premium experience for the rear-seat passengers. Along with the choice of a bench seat and two individual rear seats, the luxury SUV offers a new Airline Seat. It’s similar to the luxurious seats in private luxury jets. The Airline Seat features 22-ways of adjustment and different modes. This includes a Relax mode, in which the Airline Seat can recline to 40 degrees, while a motorized function moves the passenger seat forward and a footrest deploys.
The Airline Seat also has auto climate seat technology. It “senses occupant temperature and surface humidity and then determines whether to apply heat, ventilation, or both simultaneously to keep the occupant at optimum thermal wellbeing.”
The Bentayga has been an enormous success for Bentley. The luxury SUV is already the best-selling vehicle of all time for the British automaker, despite it debuting only six years ago. Bentley predicts that the Bentley EWB will make up to 45% of Bentayga sales.
