Entrepreneur discovers a sense of safety and adventure with her new Jeep Wrangler
As an entrepreneur and marketing coach, Pickering’s Ana Pautassi has made a career helping woman to manoeuvre the world of creating their own businesses, building their brands and reducing some of the worries that come with both.
Yet, as the lease was about to expire on her current vehicle, the avid driver found that her own fears about being safe on the road were causing her concern. She wanted a new ride that would allow her to find a balance between her busy work life and some much-needed adventure.
With a cottage to escape to on the weekends, Pautassi knew she needed to find a vehicle that would leave the experiences of driving her past car in her rear-view mirror so she could get back to enjoying the open road. She tells us why she loves her 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Altitude.
“Unfortunately a few years ago I got into a car accident with the vehicle I was leasing,” said Ana Pautassi, who picked up her Wrangler from Pickering Chrysler in March. “There were situations after that where I found myself sliding when I hit the brakes of my vehicle and I started to become a bit of an anxious driver.
“I was initially thinking of getting an Audi when the lease came up on my last vehicle, but I took it for a test drive and the cost of the monthly lease was really high for a base model. Plus, there was just nothing fancy about the inside. It was then that I figured I’d rather spend a bit more and get something nice on the inside. Because, in the end, that’s where you’re going to be spending your time. When I finally got to test drive the Sahara Altitude I was sold. It ran beautifully, the inside was super decked out — it was just all-around fantastic.
“I immediately loved that it had this really large control screen. It also has an option to put it into 4×4 that is perfect for winter or if you get caught in an ice storm. It has blind spot sensors to warn if anyone is behind you and it has all the controls you need for winter: a heated steering wheel, seats and an automatic starter already built into the car.
“And, of course, because it’s a Wrangler, you can actually take off the doors and the roof. I haven’t done that yet, but I can’t wait to try it once there’s less chance of rain in the forecast,” said Pautassi. “One thing I’ve noticed is that driving this big Jeep around I feel much less anxious on the road and that’s a big deal for me.
